Refrigerated Compressed Air Dyers

The problem:

    Compressed Air produced by any compressor always contains water vapor.  This vapor can cause a variety of problems which can seriously affect the efficiency of the system causing:

• Corrosion of components
• Down time necessary to repair damaged tooling/machinery
• High maintenance cost
• Ruined paint jobs

Solution

    For these reasons, a drying system must be installed after the pumping section of any compressed air system.  Within the refrigerated air dryer, the temperature of the air is lower causing the water to condense out of the air.  The air is then passed through a cyclone type separator which separates the air and water. (Click here to see the components of an air dryer)  The water is then ejected as waste and the dry air may be used to perform it's desired function.

Features

    All dryers come standard with a dewpoint temperature gauge, on-off switch, power on light, and NPT fittings on the inlet and outlet.  There is a guarantee that a 35° F dewpoint at rated conditions of 100 psi, 100° F inlet temperature and 100° F ambient temperature on any dryer.  These dryers may also be used with inlet temperatures greater than 100° F without damaging the dryer (however there will be a corresponding rise on the dewpoint temperature.
