The Thunderbolt "Survivalist Series" generator is a Honda powered Hercules generator designed to operate as a permanently installed unit and modified to run on Natural Gas, Liquid Propane Gas, or Gasoline. This is a special "one of a kind" product line that you will not find anywhere else in the world. We have put each model through very extensive run tests under varying loads and under very severe conditions. The results prove to us conclusively that these machines exceed the highest standards of the generator industry today.

With a standard gasoline powered generator, the hauling of gasoline to the generator becomes cumbersome, especially during extended outages. Even with the fuel efficient Honda engines, you may have to make multiple trips to the gas station. The Survivalist Series makes that a thing of the past. Running on Natural Gas, or Liquid Propane means that you and your family will benefit from a higher degree of safety that these fuels offer over gasoline. Even the safe transporting and storage of gasoline still presents all of us with a potential hazard we all certainly would rather not risk. Handling and hauling heavy gasoline cans will not be necessary. Simply have an approved contractor install a natural gas line from your house to the generator, or have your local propane dealer install an LP tank on your property and you're ready to run. Available only with recoil start, this machine is ideal for a home without a well pump, or with a shallow well if the generator is using gasoline or propane as a fuel source. Very dependable and extremely fuel efficient. Please consider the LV-70E Z unit if running on the lower rated natural gas fuel.

IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE BULLETIN: Most generator repairs are due to old gasoline gumming up the carb. Do not store gasoline in your generator, safely drain the unused gasoline or simply run your generator until it has consumed all remaining fuel. This one preventive procedure can save you from a great many hours of trouble as well as the high cost of an expensive repair.
